Goal 1: Eradicate extreme poverty and hunger:

1.2 billion people still live on less than US $1 a day. Just under half of Sub-Saharan Africa's population - some 313 million people - survive on less than US $1 a day. The target is to reduce by half the proportion of people living on less than a dollar a day and reduce by half the proportion of people who suffer from hunger. Cedza, who is from Sub-Saharan Africa and has experienced the poverty that many other Southern Africans live through, continues to inform audiences about the realities of poverty and what is being done to combat it.

Below are speeches, presentations and articles related to his work on this eradicating poverty and hunger.
