Ubuntu Institute for Young Social Entrepreneurs

Cedza founded the Ubuntu Institute for Young Social Entrepreneurs in 2005, a youth-led non-profit organization committed to the development of the African continent through youth action. The Ubuntu Institute strives to provide skills training and access to financial resources to young African social entrepreneurs from all sectors of society. This they believe will enable young Africans to more successfully develop and implement pragmatic solutions and affect measurable change in their communities. Through a comprehensive four-phase strategy, the Institute fortifies, promotes and sustains the efforts of young social entrepreneurs in Africa.

As the founder and Executive Director, Cedza provides leadership and vision to the Institute ensuring the execution of its strategy and the success of the organization.

Ubuntu Institute Lauch & Youth Leadership Conference
On Monday, October 16, 2006, Cedza came one step closer to realizing his vision through the official launch of the Ubuntu Institute for Young Social Entrepreneurs. Attended by young leaders from the 14 member states of the Southern African Development Community (SADC), business leaders, government representatives, UN representatives, and leaders of non-profit organizations, this one-day event initiated a new conversation on how young entrepreneurs can be empowered and equipped to effect change and advance the Millennium Development Goals in their countries.
